I LOVE TO TRAVEL.
I’m Jake Peverada; avid traveler, and Digital Marketer in the travel industry for the past 4 years. I have worked for companies in both leisure & business travel sectors, and even a niche brand in the student & youth market. I’ve travelled to over 15 countries and have no plans to stop exploring. I enjoy imparting my travel wisdom into my work, and helping others embark on their own adventures.

I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in History. I have a passion for demonstrating history in memorable ways.
TRAVEL
I grew up spending most of my time outdoors. Usually wondering what was around the next bend in the woods, or what lies beyond the next set of rocks on the beach. Now I spend the same energy sailing, mountaineering, and travelling. I’ve visited over 15 countries, and I have no plans to stop exploring. Follow my latest adventures.
ARTWORK
I spend quite a bit of free time turning ideas into physical creations. There always seems to be a new medium to discover, and I tend to be a fast learner when I’m shaping my ideas into reality. In recent years I have become an accomplished watercolor painter, woodworker, photographer, leather worker and I cast jewelry in bronze & silver from lost wax molds. DIGITAL MARKETING
In 2014 I felt like I needed to become more tech savvy, and I wanted to share my interests on the web. I quickly found the exciting rabbit hole of “niche websites” and Search Engine Optimization. Fast forward to 2021, and I’ve explored professional roles as an SEO, paid social strategist, content coordinator, and general webmaster. I’ve dabbled in a host of project management tools, SEO roadmaps, PPC strategies, and UX/UI redesigns for improving customer journeys. Learn more about my digital career.
HISTORY PROJECTS
When I was 5 years old, I had a book published by DK Eyewitness that was all about knights. It showed cross sections of castles, charts of how knights would don armor, and the weapons they carried. I feel as though I’ve never mentally put that book down. I’ve loved history my whole life and dedicated my undergrad studies to classical history. Today, I’m a reenactor deeply involved in the Viking Age and Early Medieval communities. My mission is to make history fun and accessible to everyone. Learn more about this crazy hobby.
